Sprint discipline
Sprint (Left Control) is a tool, not a default. Trigger it when the Locust closes to melee range, then drop into a vent or secret room to break line of sight.
Map-aware vents
Memorize at least one vent entry per map. Research Facility vents are documented as the fastest way to travel across the map undetected.
Defensive items
The tactical taser stuns the Locust for 5 seconds at melee range. The camera paralyze item flashes the Locust for 10 seconds at medium range. Save both for confirmed chases, not speculative chases.
Keys economy
Keys unlock monster skins, abilities, and equipment in the shop. Spend Keys after you have one full clear so you understand which variant fits your playstyle.
Nights progression
Nights rewards longer survivals across rounds. Plan your sprint / vent / defensive item usage to push a higher Night count rather than greedy round-one picks.
